Studio Players is proud to announce an exciting new partnership through which we will take up residency at Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair for a limited run of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing! This site-specific production will enable the audience to follow the actors throughout the historic Greek-revival house and 5-acre gardens as this hilarious classic tale of romance, rumors, and betrayal unfolds! Following on the heels of our sold-out immersive murder mystery, A Night at the Theatre, this partnership promises to continue to push the boundaries of what community theatre can do!

Mobility Considerations: Due to the site-specific nature of this production, performers will be required to walk up and down stairs and cover significant distances during the show. Some of this travel will be over outdoor terrain. This may prove difficult for actors with limited mobility or mobility concerns. Please consider auditioning for one of our future shows if you feel that these requirements may preclude you from auditioning for this one.

  • Monday, March 23rd from 7:00-10:00pm
  • Wednesday, March 25th from 7:00-10:00pm
  • Friday, March 27th from 7:00-10:00pm (callbacks as needed– by invitation only)

A Note on Casting: While certain characters are set in their gender and age requirements based on their relationships to other characters, some characters are more flexible. We are also open to cross-gender casting. All races and ethnicities will be considered for all roles. Audition for any role that you would like!
