WHAT IS A BRITISH PANTOMIME?
A British pantomime is a theatrical tradition that combines fairy tales with comedy, audience interaction, music, slapstick, spectacular costumes, and plenty of surprises. Audiences cheer for the heroes, boo the villains, sing along, and become part of the story. It’s joyful, energetic, family-friendly, and unlike any other theatrical experience! Think Monty Python and Looney Tunes meets Alice in Wonderland.
